This year\u2019s Les Voiles de Saint Barth Regatta, sponsored by Luxury Swiss Watchmaker Richard Mille, is promising to be like no other. It is the Regatta\u2019s 10th<\/sup> Anniversary and to celebrate every team from its inception has been invited back to race on the beautiful waters surrounding Saint Barthelemy. The latest update is that this extended invitation has been accepted by 50 crews so far and includes a number of new boats. This will be an exciting and thrilling Regatta with lots of memories for those who travel to St Barthelemy and enjoy the 5 day sailing festival.<\/p>\n From April 14-20 the 5 day Regatta offers crews ultra challenging courses, a festive ambience and exceptional organisation which makes it one of the most important events for sailors around the globe. There has been a line of prestigious patrons associating their names with the Les Voiles Regatta: Patrick Demarchelier, Jimmy Buffett, Sir Peter Harrison, Jim Swartz, Jean Todt and G\u00e9rard Saillant, Lo\u00efck Peyron, Ken Read, Lionel P\u00e9an and Alessandra Sublet. The figurehead of this 10th edition will be Pierre Casiraghi, a decorated and passionate sailor as well as a member of Monaco\u2019s ruling family.<\/p>\n Away from the 5 day calendar of racing are a number of social events to keep non-sailors occupied. A laser show and fireworks display, live concerts and ceremonies will be held during the week, with much socialising around the restaurants, bars and clubs of the island.<\/p>\n
