The annual Regatta is less competitive than other regattas held in St Barths and is more of a festival celebrating traditional boat building in the Caribbean. The Port of Gustavia will host the three day regatta that includes sailing, an island market, live music and much more. The artisan market will showcase local arts and crafts, organic produce, unique speciality products from islands throughout the Caribbean that will arrive under sail, as they would have traditionally been transported.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Barths West Indies Regatta is made possible by the generous support of Club Unesco de St. Barth\u00e9lemy, Port de Gustavia, the Tourism Office and a number of local businesses. Villa NEO is very much looking forward to be enjoying the spectacle of these traditional boats sailing in the bay around St Jean. With a bird\u2019s eye view of the Bay, we will have a great vantage point to see these beautiful boats. With Gustavia only a very short drive away, Villa NEO guests will be able to pop along to the Artisan market and also enjoy the entertainment on the quay.<\/p>\n<p>Also getting underway this weekend is the 24 edition of the St Barth Film Festival. Opening Night will be on Sunday April 28 and the first screening will be of<em> Inna de Yard<\/em>, a documentary about reggae, so synonymous with the Caribbean music culture. The Festival celebrates the richness of Caribbean culture and is a popular fixture on the St Barths cultural calendar.
